Sudan – (14/03) Zikra Juniawan, pemuda asal Bener Meriah provinsi Aceh ini telah resmi terpilih sebagai ketua umum untuk menahkodai FORPASS masa periode 2020-2021. Acara ini dilaksanakan di Aula Gedung KBRI Khartoum Sudan dan disaksikan langsung oleh Duta Besar Republik Indonesia untuk Sudan dan Eretria, bapak Drs. Rosalia Usman Adenan, MBA., pada waktu setempat.
FORPASS (Forum Pascasarjana Sudan) melantik pengurus barunya pada tanggal 14 Maret 2020 dari berbagai kalangan para mahasiswa pascasarjana dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia dan dari berbagai kampus yang berada di Sudan seperti IUA (International University of Africa), KIIFAL (Khartoum International Insitute for Arabic Language), Al-Qur’an University, Assalam University, dan universitas-universitas lainnya yang berada di Sudan. Organisasi ini menaungi mahasiswa-mahasiswi Pascasarjana yang sedang melanjutkan pendidikan master dan doktor di Sudan. FORPASS bergerak dibidang kajian intelektual dalam membahas isu-isu aktual dan faktual, baik yang bersifat akademis dan non akademis.
Demisioner HMP PBA UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh masa jabatan 2017-2018 ini bertekad menjaga dan meningkatkan eksistensi FORPASS sebagai forum intelektual tertinggi yang berintegritas, mandiri, dan akademis, seperti tema yang diusung dalam kegiatan pelantikan (14/3). Ia juga menegaskan akan menjalin kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak, baik lembaga maupun instansi untuk dapat saling bersinergi dengan mahasiswa yang berkompeten di Sudan.
Dalam sambutannya, ketua umumFORPASS, Zikra Juniawan mengatakan, “Mahasiswa Sudan sangatlah banyak yang memiliki kapaletias dan kapasitas yang tinggi, karena Sudan merupakan negara yang sangat menjaga keilmuan dibidang Syari’ah dan Aqidah. Bahasa Arab Sudan pun sangatlah dekat dengan Bahasa Arab Fusha (resmi).”
